This policy explains what Lancaire Mechanical Services Inc. (“Lancaire”, “we”) collects from customers and from visitors to this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Contact details — your name, phone number, email address and service address, when you request service on this site, book by phone, sign an estimate, or become a customer.
• Service records — the equipment at your property, the work we have done, estimates, invoices and payments, kept in our office system so we can serve you and honour warranties.
• Messages — calls, texts and emails between you and our office, including calls to our after-hours line, which may be recorded so the office can follow up accurately.
• Website use — this site keeps no accounts and sets no advertising cookies. Our hosting provider records ordinary server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to keep the site running.

How we use it

• To schedule, perform and follow up on service, and to send estimates and invoices.
• To contact you about your service: appointment confirmations, a technician on the way, an estimate or invoice link, and, when you have called our after-hours line, to reach you about that call.
• To keep records the law and equipment warranties require.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number and agree to texts, we may send service-related messages such as appointment and technician updates and links to your estimate or invoice. Message frequency varies with your service. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, and HELP for help. We do not send marketing texts.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Who else sees it

Service providers that run our office software, phone line, texting, email and payment processing handle your information only as needed to provide those services to us. We share what a manufacturer needs to register a warranty. We disclose information when the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.

Keeping it and your choices

We keep service records for as long as you are a customer and as long as warranties and record-keeping rules require. You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop texts or emails, by contacting the office. We will answer within thirty days.
